<paragraph>The Whole Village Family Resource Center opened in 1996 and in April 2011 became an initiative of Lakes Region United Way. Our mission is to support and strengthen families. Our goals are to help families create more positive and hopeful futures, enhance individual and family well-being, and increase their capacities to contribute to community life. </paragraph>
<paragraph>Whole Village serves the community by providing a range of programs that support families: family support coordination, parent education, family socialization activities, and information and referral services. Our campus is comprised of two buildings: one housing Whole Village activities and 14 other social service agencies and one building for the Bridge House family shelter. </paragraph>
<paragraph>Collaboration with area health and human service agencies is an important component of our work. Whole Village is a central location where individuals and families can obtain information or referrals. Use the “Campus Agencies and Partners” buttons to locate area agencies. Finally, Whole Village Family Resource Center provides meeting space to partner agencies and community groups for training, programs, meetings, and gatherings. </paragraph>
<paragraph>Whole Village and the area agencies collectively serve the towns of Alexandria, Ashland, Bridgewater, Bristol, Campton, Dorchester, Ellsworth, Groton, Hebron, Holderness, Lincoln, New Hampton, Plymouth, Rumney, Sandwich, Thornton, Warren, Waterville Valley, Wentworth, and Woodstock. </paragraph>
